| Description: | We are looking to hire a Linux System Administrator who can configure, load, secure, and support Web Application Servers in a high traffic environment. |
| Duties: | As a Linux System Administrator you will be responsible for installing, configuring, troubleshooting, and performance tuning our web infrastructure in a 24/7 usage environment. You will also work with application developers, security administrators to coordinate and maintain high usage availability of critical applications. The ability to work with both internal and external customers regarding requirements, project planning and ongoing support is critical. You will also be required to maintain system documentation, including change management, monitor system performance and identify potential enhancements to maintain stability and up-time.

| Qualifications: | Background and work experience should include:
• Associates degree in Computer Science or experience in related field required, Bachelors degree preferred.
• Must have experience with maintaining and hardening Linux Enterprise Operating Systems.
• Must have Strong TCP/IP networking background including network load-balancers, firewalls, DNS and SMTP.
• Should have experience with one or more of the following: Apache, Tomcat, IIS, Java, OC4J, Web Services, Ant, JBoss, and other application integration technologies in a J2EE environment.
• Must have strong project management skills and efficient organizational skills.
• Must have ability to work independently, prioritize, communicate effectively written and verbally.
• Experience with the following a plus: Oracle database knowledge, SAN Administration, Shell Scripting, Virtualization, and Version Control.
