| Duties: | We are looking for a Sr. Oracle RAC DBA with at least 5 years database experience working in a Linux RAC environment. You will provide mission critical support of real-time production systems in a 24/7 environment. The Senior DBA will be responsible for maintenance, upgrades, and the evaluation and implementation of new functionality for our Oracle infrastructure. We are looking for someone that will be responsible for proactive analysis of DB performance, capacity planning, trouble-shooting, and issue resolution across 10g RAC and non RAC environments. The candidate will mentor other team members in the use and best practices concerning Oracle Technologies, while keeping abreast of emerging technologies and features.

| Qualifications: | • BS degree in computer science or related field and 7+ years of Oracle.
• Experience with Oracle RAC, Grid, ASM (Automatic Storage Management),
RMAN (Recovery Manager), Oracle 9i-11g, SQL, and PL/SQL are essential.
• Must be detailed oriented and able to meet customer and project management deadlines.
• Establish and maintain DBA-related documentation.
• Install, upgrade, and maintain development and production databases and servers.
• Effectively communicate technical issues one-on-one and in group situations.
• Participate in 24/7 support for production database applications as part of an on-call rotation.
• Must be highly motivated, able to take initiative with little direction.
• Strong problem solving and analytical skills are vital.
